How do I prepare for my session? What about aftercare?

Patients must ensure that they did not expose the treated areas to the sun in the fifteen days prior to their session. Artificial tanning and the sun put the skin in an “excited state” that can interfere with the laser treatment.

Patients must shave at least three hours before their session and clean their skin of any cream, lotion or moisturizer. Should you have been taking medication like antibiotics, you must wait at least ten days after the end of your treatment and your laser session.

Laser hair removal aftercare is simple. Avoid sun exposure on the area for at least ten days. Should being in the sun unavoidable, apply a physical sunblock with SPF 50. Avoid hot showers, saunas and working out in the 24 hours after your session.

How does laser hair removal work?

This package for one year of unlimited laser hair removal for one small area uses the same principle as any other laser hair removal treatment. The laser gun will target the pigment in the hair. The light energy will travel through the hair down to the follicle where it will turn into thermal energy. That energy will then damage the hair beyond repair, preventing any future hair growth. 

This laser package for one small area comes in six laser hair removal. Patients will be able to choose any one small area. It is not possible to change areas mid-treatment.
